“My wife and I stay there for a little bit under 4 weeks we enjoyed our stay.Very clean and quiet. I have to give it a four-star good motel the only bad thing is to actually two things I think a manager should live on site I don't know how many times I had to call the manager and let her know that she had guests waiting for the rooms overall the motel is great and I recommend it. If you're looking for a clean comfortable quiet motel this is for you.”

“this is a quiet place to stay. very basic. ( as in no pool, arcade or weight room) if you want that experience staying here is not for you. with that being said, if anyone stayed here last year until the end of November when the last manager and employees where here, i can see that the experience was terrible. i was there towards the end of November and walking by the rooms you could clearly see all the rooms where horribly dirty and unclean. Even to the fact the you could smell bad oders coming from some rooms. I have since been back to see for myself if it had changed. In deed it has. The new manager has deep cleaned all the rooms, replaced old bedding with new and smoke detectors in the rooms now. Manager is very helpful and willing to go above and beyond for you and to make sure you have a wonderful stay. Would recommend.”

“I have been to many hotels in many different places around the country, mainly because of business and I can tell you that Tip Top is in my top 10 places. It is not because there are lots of amenities or the rooms are super clean or the hotel is new or is a 5-star hotel. But is because of the people that manage the hotel, especially Stuart. Our team stayed at the Tip Top for a month and the whole stay was great, Stuart made sure we had everything we needed, and not only that, the man feed us pretty much every weekend, and by that he cooked for us. He didn't ask for money nor tip (but we decided to tip anyway, cause we know all the food is not cheap and he was paying out of his pocket) and Stuart can cook! MAN HE CAN COOK! he made us burgers, chicken wings, macaroni, grilled chicken, and much more. Again it is not the Hilton or anything but I sure was treated better than some 5-stars hotels, that is why I am rating Tip Top 5-stars. I am in the customer service business myself and I know for a fact having people like Stuart makes all the difference. Thank you, Stuart!!!”

“This motel is located right in town and is a short drive from nearly everything. The room itself was tidy but not clean. There was a simple set of dishes and cookware, as well as a full fridge, microwave, and portable cooktop. There were clean towels but the bathtub was dirty with hair in the drain. There was also an A/C unit that worked well but the filter had dust covering it, so it was obviously blowing dirty air. I woke up with stuffy sinuses. The bedding appeared clean but there were no fitted sheets on the bed. Additionally, there was a small, round table with two chairs and a couch. There was also a nice flat screen TV with access to entertainment. Management was very friendly and accommodating. The town itself has a Dollar General as well as two gas stations which close before 6pm. Delicious Cafe and Asian cuisine made from the local Vietnamese native cook. There are plenty of food varieties to select from but the hours are not worker-friendly. Overall, I would stay here again. No evidence of bed bugs and the mattress appeared fairly new. Next time, I will bring some cleaning supplies and my own blanket.”

“I was towed into town and spent two nights. Absolutely the best service I've experienced anywhere, and I have over 3K hotel nights the last 10 years. Di is amazing she helped with the 2am check-in, recommended a tire shop and made sure I was okay. The kitchen is a pleasure to have and when my route puts me through hettinger again I will stay again”
